- Durable Materials: There are always risks with purchasing foldable camp gear, especially anything that will bear weight. However, a great outdoor foldable chair will have sturdy legs made of steel and have 600D polyester material that resists runs and ripping.
- Portability: Gone are the days where large, folded lawn chairs need to accompany you to camp. These days most chairs fold up into a thin tube and usually come with a carry bag. However, consider the distance you will be carrying them to camp. As such, folding chair over a few pounds will be best for car camping, while chairs and stools that fold compact and weigh less than 3 pounds may make your backpacking journey more enjoyable.
