Trail running is about experiencing the outdoors in an intimate and meditative way. You are surrounded by nature, but also deeply in-tune with your own thoughts and body.
For this reason, selecting a pair of trail running shoes should be about working to sustain our trail running experiences without unnecessary distractions. The right pair of shoes will reduce your likelihood of getting blisters, having sore knees, and being uncomfortable… which are all distractions to the trail running experience.
With the above in mind, getting a good pair of trail running shoes is really about preserving your enjoyment on the trails. It is also about gaining confidence that your feet (and body) can take on what lays ahead.
If you are excited to pick a pair of trail running shoes, hopefully, this post has helped provide the information and comparisons you need to make a decision.
