Hi! We’re Todd and Sarah; we started Deeper Trails to provide the best possible information, techniques, and tips for the things we love to do. We LOVE trail running, hiking, backpacking, foraging for mushrooms, and just about everything that has to do with the outdoors.
We live near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and hike, trail run, snowshoe, kayak, AND ski there. Check out one of our recent hikes there in this video:

More about Us (Todd and Sarah)
Todd Alexander | Co-Founder and Regular Author
Hi! I’m Todd, a co-founder of DeeperTrails.com. I grew up running, but only discovered trail running while in College. This has been one of my passions as an adult and I write a lot about it on Deeper Trails.
Other than trail running, I write about road running, training techniques, my favorite gear, hiking, snowshoeing, and more.
I love writing, but you can also find me on our YouTube Channel.
There is a LOT of content we’ve added to this site, but some articles I’ve written are below:
Deeper Trails is my side project, but you can check out my profile on LinkedIn if you want to connect.

I’m Sarah, the other co-founder of DeeperTrails.com. I absolutely love hiking and foraging for mushrooms; chanterelles, chicken of the woods, and Lion’s Mane are my favorites to find (and cook!).
I have recently fallen in love with winter sports such as snowshoeing and skiing, but really my first true love is hiking.
